1/20/2024 0 Comments Diablo 2 fun paladin builds reddit![]() ![]() Luckily, I still have mine but I was totally YOLO-ing my build: ![]() Staff sorcs just have a certain panache and are far more cool than stupid hoto flail sorcs.I haven't played D2 in forever and actually never even completed the LOD expansion on normal before, which is something I want to do now because the hype around Resurrected really got to me.įor some demented reason I though I would get another free re-spec in Act 2 but turns out you only get one per difficulty from the Den of Evil. ![]() I could easily teleport anywhere, even into giant packs of dolls, without any real worry. It's been a few years but I think I had 20k+ defense with Memory and enough fhr that I was rarely hit and if I was, I was never stunlocked. Obviously a CtA on switch.Īside from that, it's pretty standard - get your fcr up to the 63% breakpoint, get a lot of fhr, etc. My answer was to make a tank sorc - base stats for everything if possible and every point into vit, and two runewords that are never used in high level play in hardcore but completely made the build - ebugged Prudence dusk shroud, and Memory in a +2 / +3 lightning / +2 shiver armor base (although if resists are a problem, a HOTO staff works too with a similar base, but your defense will suffer) (I think you can get +2 all / +3 skills on a staff? Been a long time since I played, so maybe it was +3 tree / +3 skills). ![]() Came about because I was thinking how dumb it was that sorcs carry around a flail and shield - proper mages carry a giant fuck-off staff. My all time favorite class was an oddball sorc that I theorycrafted and it worked out incredibly well, by far the most fun char I've ever made. ![]()
